Terms of service.

These terms cover your use of godetour.co.uk ("Detour"). By using the site, you're agreeing to them. Read the short version first: we're a publisher, not a seller. We write about trips and link you to where you can book them. We don't take payment, hold your booking, or act as a travel agent.
What Detour is.
Detour is an independent editorial publisher and referrer. We research and write about concert trips, and link out to the ticket sellers, airlines, hotels and other third parties where you can actually make a booking.
Detour does not sell tickets, flights or accommodation. We are not a ticket agent, travel agent, tour operator or ATOL-protected provider. When you click through from Detour and book something, that contract is between you and the third party you booked with, not with Detour. Their terms, their cancellation policy, their customer service, apply.
Prices and availability.
Every price on Detour was accurate at the time we checked and published it. Ticket prices, flight prices and hotel costs change constantly, often within hours, and are set entirely by the third parties selling them, not by us. We do not update published posts in real time.
This means a trip may cost more (or less) by the time you come to book it than what's written on Detour, and a deal may have sold out or expired entirely. Where we know a deal has expired, we mark it as such rather than remove it, but we can't guarantee every price is current.
Always verify the price, availability and terms directly on the booking site before you pay.Detour's numbers are a starting point for research, not a quote or a guarantee.
Limitation of liability.
Detour is provided "as is". We do our best to check the numbers before we publish, but we make no warranty that any price, availability, schedule or other detail on the site is accurate, complete or current, and we don't guarantee the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Detour and its operator accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, your reliance on anything published on it, or any booking, purchase or trip you make with a third party after clicking through from Detour. This includes changed prices, sold-out tickets, cancelled flights, or any other issue with a third-party booking. Your booking is a contract between you and that third party, and any dispute, refund or complaint about it should go to them.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

- Affiliate links. Some outbound links earn Detour a commission. See our affiliate disclosurefor how that works and how it does (and doesn't) affect what we cover.
- Content.All text, design and branding on Detour belongs to Detour unless stated otherwise. You're welcome to link to us; please don't republish our posts wholesale without asking first.
- Changes. We may update these terms as the site evolves. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed.
- Governing law. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
